AcquaVapore S17-R-ALL: reclining bathtub with door for safe and relaxed bathing
AcquaVapore S17-R-ALL is a combination of a generous reclining tub and a side entry door in the right-hand version for the right room corner. This tub with door allows you to bathe in a normal lying position, without having to manage a classic entry over the high tub rim. The low door threshold makes entry considerably easier, and the external dimensions of 75 x 150 cm create ample room to lie relaxed. As the right-hand version the model S17-R-ALL fits into the right room corner and allows a space-saving corner installation there.
Older people, people with limited mobility and everyone who does not want to give up a regular bath in familiar home surroundings benefit particularly from this model. It is suitable for keeping independence while bathing in your own bathroom and at the same time for relieving caring relatives who previously had to help physically with a classic tub entry. The tub with door makes the bathroom more mobility-friendly, without you having to give up the comforts of an extended bath.
Build-up, safety and comfort of the S17-R-ALL
The side door of the S17-R-ALL opens outwards and clears an entry width of 37 cm, through which you can comfortably enter the tub. The entry over the door thus measures 37 cm clear opening, a central feature for everyone who needs sufficient room to move when getting in. The door is fitted with a safety latch that ensures a tight and safe closing. The additional locking mechanism ensures that the door stays firmly closed during bathing even under water pressure. The seal is designed so that it reliably seals the low door threshold and no water can escape.
The S17-R-ALL is designed as a reclining tub: you lie in a normal tub posture while bathing, and the immersion depth is 31 cm up to the overflow. The tub holds 146 to 155 litres of water, which is enough for a relaxed lying bath. Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the tub stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and thus evens out unevenness in the floor. The tub body made of acrylic with fibreglass reinforcement offers a solid base that withstands deformation and holds the warmth of the bath water well. The mixer with single-lever mixer is made of brass and high-quality chrome-plated, it has a diverter and can be operated ergonomically. The model is kept in white and fits in visually with most bathroom designs. In our selection of senior bathtubs you will find further low-threshold models for different requirements.

For commissioning a cold water, a hot water and a waste water connection are needed. The latter designed as HT 40. In case of uncertainty about the installation site we are happy to advise. The tub fits as a whole through a standard door from 70 centimetres width, so that transport into existing bathrooms is possible without dismantling in most cases. If you have questions about the set-up in your specific room situation, we are available to you at the contact details given on Seniorbad.de.
Before packing we test every example with water and check all connections for tightness. After a passed inspection the tub goes into the shipping packaging. Delivery of the S17-R-ALL is by carrier, as this is a larger and heavier appliance. For delivery by carrier we ask for a phone number reachable during the day for notification. Delivery is kerbside delivery. The scope of delivery includes the tub with frame, mixer and accessories for mounting. For a smooth process we recommend commissioning a skilled tradesperson with the mounting and connection.
