AcquaVapore S17D-WP-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, glass shower screen and water massage
For people with limited mobility, the AcquaVapore S17D-WP-R-ALL is a well-thought-out combination of a walk-in bathtub with a side door, a folding glass shower screen and an integrated whirlpool system. The tub lets you lie relaxed and be pampered by 5 water massage jets, or you use the area as a shower behind the glass screen. Both are united in one model. The entry width of 37 cm and the low door threshold make entry safer, without you having to rearrange aids in the bathroom. The model is available in the right-hand version for the right room corner.
Precisely as mobility declines with age, daily bathing becomes a challenge that many people shy away from. The S17D-WP-R-ALL is designed to give you this routine back: you step in through the side door, lie down in the 150 cm long tub and decide whether you want to lie and be massaged or to shower. In the case of home care the compact overall format eases installation, and relatives or care services can stand well beside the tub to help. As a shower bath combination with a folding glass screen, the model is also versatile when no full bath is wanted.
Jets, door system and water flow
The side door opens on the right-hand side, matching the right room corner. It is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with an all-round special seal and closes with a safety latch that ensures a tight seal before filling. The door system sits directly next to the folding glass shower screen in 6 mm toughened safety glass, which can be folded to the side as soon as you want to use the tub as a shower. With a 37 cm entry width and the flat entry threshold, the door system makes getting in considerably easier, even when the hip or knees no longer quite cooperate. The additional locking mechanism on the door gives you the certainty that no water escapes once the tub is filled.
The tub in fibreglass-reinforced acrylic stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame whose feet can be adjusted in height during assembly. Inside are 5 water massage jets that circulate the water through a water system driven on the 230 volt mains. The water volume at a full fill is around 120 litres, and the immersion depth while lying reaches 31 cm, which is enough for a relaxing lying bath. A corner seat at the upper tub rim, above the water level, offers you a short break while getting in and out. The outlet lies off centre, which widens the installation leeway during fitting. The tub is delivered without a mixer, so that you can fit your existing or preferred single-lever mixer tap.

The external width of 70 centimetres allows transport through a standard door, so that the tub reaches its installation site in one piece. For installation you need a hot water and a cold water connection (each 1/2 inch) as well as a waste water connection with an HT-40 diameter. Because the whirlpool system runs on 230 volt, a socket near the installation site is also necessary. Three connections are required for installation: hot water and cold water each at 1/2 inch and a waste water at HT-40 diameter. Please measure the installation site once before the delivery arrives.
We check every model at the warehouse with water before it is dispatched. The tub is then packed securely again so that it reaches you undamaged. Shipping is by carrier, kerbside delivery. Please keep a reachable phone number ready for the advance notice, so that the delivery day can be agreed together.
