AcquaVapore S17D-EH-WP-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with whirlpool and glass shower screen
AcquaVapore S17D-EH-WP-R-ALL is a combination of a walk-in bathtub with a side door, five water massage jets and a folding glass shower screen. The tub thus offers two ways of use: you can relax lying in the warm water with whirlpool massage or use the cabin as a full shower. Designed for seniors and people with limited mobility, the low door threshold makes getting in considerably easier, without having to give up a full lying bath.
The model is particularly suitable for forward-looking bathroom planning for later living, when you want to set the course today for a comfortable and safe bathroom. It is likewise a well-considered investment in the age-appropriate owner-occupied flat, which secures long-term living comfort and strengthens the value of the property.
Massage, door and interior
The side door of the walk-in bathtub opens over a large area and allows a comfortable entry. The measured entry width is 37 cm, which for most users represents a safe transition into the tub. The safety latch keeps the door reliably closed during the bath, so that no water escapes. The door itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with an all-round special seal that stays tight even at full water level.
Inside, you lie comfortably in the rectangular tub, whose water volume holds between 120 and around 150 litres depending on the fill level. The immersion depth is 31 cm, so that a relaxed lying bath with full body coverage is possible. The whirlpool system comprises five adjustable water massage jets that supply the back, neck or legs with a water stream in a targeted way. A 750 watt pump drives the water system and provides even massage pressure. The single-lever mixer with a diverter is made of brass and finely chromed, and the fitting has a ceramic cartridge for long-lasting tightness. The tub body made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic is held safely and aligned in the bathroom by a height-adjustable stainless steel frame. The glass shower screen is made of 6 mm toughened safety glass, of a folding design and mounted at the side next to the door, so that the tub can, when needed, be used fully as a shower cabin. Further models with a bath and shower function in one can be found in our overview of shower bath combinations.
