AcquaVapore S17D-EH-WP-L-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, glass shower screen and whirlpool in the left-hand version
For people with limited mobility, the AcquaVapore S17D-EH-WP-L-ALL is a low-threshold walk-in bathtub with a side door, an integrated glass shower screen and whirlpool water massage. The combination bath in the left-hand version for the left room corner offers a spacious bathing environment at 150 x 75 x 210 cm and can be used either lying down as a full bath or, thanks to the folding glass screen, comfortably as a shower. The side door with a safety latch and the entry width of 37 cm make access possible even when stepping over a high tub rim takes too much strength.
The model is particularly suitable for back problems, when stepping over a classic tub rim is hard, because the door opens at the side and no leg has to be raised far. People with balance disorders also benefit, to reduce the risk of falls, from the controlled entry and the stable tub construction. Five water massage jets provide a pleasant relaxation of the muscles, without making therapeutic promises. If you are looking for a combined bath and shower solution, you will find further models with an integrated shower option in our shower bath combinations category.
Jets, door system and water flow
The side door of the tub opens on the left side (left-hand version for the left corner) and, with a clear opening of 37 cm, provides ample room for a secured entry. An additional locking mechanism on the door ensures a watertight closure before the tub is filled. The door made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with a special seal closes reliably, so that no water can escape. For shower use, the 6 mm toughened safety glass shower screen folds open at the side next to the door to a height of 194 cm and limits the splash area towards the room side.
Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the tub stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and thus evens out unevenness in the floor. The water system consists of 5 adjustable water massage jets supplied by a 750 watt pump. The water depth (immersion depth) is 31 cm up to the overflow, which gives a pleasant water level when lying down. The capacity is 120 litres of operating water volume with an overall volume of 146 to 155 litres. The outlet is positioned off centre and leaves ample room for the siphon area. The single-lever mixer made of brass, chromed and polished, has a multiple diverter for tub and shower function and makes getting in easier through its ergonomically reachable position.

For commissioning, a cold water, a hot water and a waste water connection are needed. The latter is designed as HT 40. If you are unsure about the installation location, we are happy to advise. With the whirlpool model, a 230 volt power connection for the massage pump is additionally required. The external width of 70 centimetres allows transport through a standard door, so that the tub reaches its installation location in one piece. The connection drawing (S2) shows the exact positions for the hot and cold water supply, the drain area and the power connection for the whirlpool function.
Before packing, we test every unit with water and check all connections for tightness. After passing the check, the tub goes into the shipping packaging. Dispatch is by carrier, kerbside delivery. Please keep a reachable telephone number ready for the advance notice, so that the delivery day can be arranged together.
