Door, lying area and water functions in detail
The side door of the S17D-EH-L-ALL opens with an entry width of 37 cm and is fitted with a safety latch that ensures tight closing before the tub is filled. The seal between the door and the tub body is designed so that no water escapes, even when the tub is completely filled. The safety latch can be operated from inside and outside and opens without tools. The door is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with glass fibre reinforcement and is therefore part of the tub body, not a separate add-on part.
The tub body offers room for one person lying down and holds 146 to 155 litres of water. The immersion depth is 31 cm, which allows a normal water level for lying bathing. The model is equipped without whirlpool jets, so no power connection is needed and maintenance stays simple. At the upper tub rim there is a corner seat that makes getting in and out easier and allows short pauses during entry. The base is a height-adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. To the side next to the door, a folding glass shower screen with 6 mm glass thickness is mounted, which makes the tub usable as a shower too and reaches a height of 194 cm. The single-lever mixer with diverter is made of brass and of high-quality chrome finish, giving a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant fitting.

Before purchase, it is worth taking a look at the installation location and the existing connections. The tub needs hot and cold water as well as a waste water connection with a 40 millimetre diameter. The connections for hot and cold water can also be arranged on opposite sides, which simplifies adapting to existing installations. A door width of 70 centimetres is enough to push the tub fully assembled into the bathroom. Dismantling at the installation location is therefore normally not needed.
