AcquaVapore S17D-EH-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door and glass shower screen for the right room corner
The AcquaVapore S17D-EH-R-ALL belongs to the range of low-threshold walk-in bathtubs with a door and glass shower screen. Thanks to the side door with safety latch and the low door threshold, entry is much easier than with conventional bathtubs without a door. The model is designed as a right-hand version and thus fits into the right room corner of the bathroom. Thanks to the integrated folding glass shower screen, you can use the tub either for showering or for lying bathing.
This model is suitable for people who want to keep their independence while bathing in their own bathroom, and at the same time it eases the daily care routine as a relief for caring relatives. The combination of a lying bathtub and a shower function creates flexibility in everyday life, without having to give up comfort. Anyone who has to pay attention to mobility benefits especially from the wide entry opening and the sturdy door system.
Construction, safety and comfort of the S17D-EH-R-ALL
The side door opens via an additional locking mechanism that ensures a tight and secure closure. The entry width is 37 cm, which provides a well usable door passage and makes getting in easier. After entry, the door is locked from inside before the tub is filled. The all-round special seal on the door frame makes sure that no water escapes as long as the door is properly closed. The folding glass shower screen of 6 mm toughened safety glass can be mounted to the side next to the door and reliably separates the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. You will find further models that combine bathtub and shower in our overview of shower bath combinations.
The base is a height-adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The acrylic with glass fibre reinforcement combines low weight with good shape stability. When used lying down, the tub offers a water depth (immersion depth) of 31 cm up to the overflow, which allows a relaxing full bath lying down. The capacity lies between 146 and 155 litres, and the actual water use per bath is around 120 litres. The external dimensions of the tub body are 75 x 150 cm with an overall height of 210 cm including the glass shower screen. The single-lever mixer with multiple diverter is made of brass and of high-quality chrome finish. A corner seat at the upper tub rim above the water level lets you sit down briefly when getting in and out. The height-adjustable feet of the stainless steel frame allow a level compensation on uneven floor surfaces.

Before purchase, it is worth taking a look at the installation location and the existing connections. The tub needs hot and cold water as well as a waste water connection with a 40 millimetre diameter. With 75 centimetres external width, the tub fits through a common home door. Transport into the bathroom therefore works in the vast majority of cases without dismantling. Hot and cold water connections can be made on opposite sides, which eases assembly in many bathroom situations. For queries about installation, our team at Seniorbad.de is available to you.
In our warehouse, every tub is filled with water and checked on a test rig before shipping. Only then does it go into transport. Before delivery, the carrier contacts you to arrange a suitable date. A phone number reachable during the day is therefore helpful. Delivery is kerbside delivery.
