AcquaVapore S15D-WP-EH-L-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, glass shower screen and water massage for the left room corner
With the AcquaVapore S15D-WP-EH-L-ALL, Seniorbad.de offers a solution for people with declining mobility in old age who want to combine the reclining bath with comfortable side entry and integrated water massage. The tub made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic measures 160 x 85 cm in its base and, with the fitted glass shower screen, reaches an overall height of 215 cm. Thanks to the side entry door you come into the water lying down, without having to lift your leg over a high tub rim. The glass screen also lets you use the model as a shower enclosure as an alternative, without filling the tub.
The combination of reclining bath and shower option makes the S15D-WP-EH-L-ALL a versatile bathroom element that is convincing both in a home care situation and for independent bathing in everyday life. Anyone looking for mobility-friendly solutions, without having to do without a full reclining bath, will find here an answer to both requirements. The model is made in the left-hand version and therefore fits into the left room corner, with the long wall side on the left. In our range of senior bath tubs you will find further low-threshold models.
What the S15D-WP-EH-L-ALL offers with the massage function
The entry door opens to the side and gives an entry width of 38 cm. A low door threshold and an additional locking mechanism ensure that the door stays watertight when closed. You close the door from the inside with one handle and can then fill the tub, without having to put the construction under strain. The safety latch is designed so that you can operate it even with limited hand strength.
Inside, the immersion depth is 33 cm, measured up to the overflow. That corresponds to a generous water level that offers you a cosy tub fill while lying down, without making entry more difficult. The capacity is 146 to 155 litres, and at a usual fill level the water consumption is around 120 litres. To relax the muscles, 5 water massage jets are available to you, which work as whirlpool water jets and are driven by a 750 W pump. The jets are adjustable so that you can adapt intensity and direction to your own feeling. Beneath the tub body made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic sits a height-adjustable stainless steel frame that evens out minor deviations in the floor without additional packing pieces. The glass shower screen is made of 6 mm thick toughened safety glass and is of folding design, so that you can open the area when needed. The mixer is designed as a single-lever mixer, the main body is made of brass with a polished chrome finish, and the diverter allows several water routings. This bathtub with door thus offers everything for a safe and relaxing reclining bath.

The required connections are a hot water connection, a cold water connection and a waste water connection with 40 millimetres. An advance check of the existing pipes makes later installation considerably easier. As the model is equipped with a whirlpool pump, you additionally need a 230 volt power connection in sufficient proximity to the tub. With a clearance width of 70 centimetres, the tub fits through any common standard door and can be brought into the bathroom without dismantling. The connection routings for hot and cold water as well as the drain siphon area are marked in an enclosed sketch, so that you can coordinate the pipe routing with your installer before installation.
A water fill in the warehouse is part of our standard check before shipping. In this way we make sure that only watertight and functional tubs leave the warehouse.
