AcquaVapore S15D-WP-L-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, glass shower screen and water massage
With the AcquaVapore S15D-WP-L-ALL, Seniorbad.de offers a solution for people for whom leaving the tub after bathing has become an obstacle, and at the same time for situations in which the tub bath should become less complicated, also to relieve caring relatives. The model combines a walk-in bathtub with a side door, a folding glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass and a whirlpool water massage system in a single bathroom product measuring 160 x 85 x 215 cm. You thus get a low-threshold bathing experience that allows both relaxed lying in the heated water and quick showering behind the glass screen. The left-hand version is designed for the left room corner, so when planning you should pay attention to the orientation of your bathroom.
In everyday use the value of this combination shows above all in two situations. When leaving the tub after bathing has become an obstacle, the side door ensures that you do not have to climb over a high tub rim but get in through a wide side opening and close the door behind you. And to relieve caring relatives, this accessibility means that the bathing process can be supervised with considerably less effort and risk of falling. The tub is thus aimed at people who are looking for an age-appropriate bathroom without wanting to give up a full lying experience in the water. In our range of senior bath tubs you will find further low-threshold models for different requirements.
What S15D-WP-L-ALL offers with the massage function
The door system of the S15D-WP-L-ALL is designed for safe entry. The side door opens outwards and provides an entry width of 38 cm, which is sufficient for getting in even with a walking aid. An integrated safety latch keeps the door reliably closed during bathing, and the additional locking mechanism can also be operated from inside the tub. Next to the door is the folding glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass: folded up, the tub serves as a shower cabin, folded down, the full tub area lies open.
For a lying bath the tub fills with up to 120 litres of water. The immersion depth is 33 cm, which washes around the whole body when lying and allows a full tub bath. Five adjustable water massage jets in the whirlpool system distribute gentle water flows in the tub area. The whirlpool system works purely on a water basis, a separate air massage is not included. The water capacity is 146 to 155 litres, and operation requires a power connection of 230 volts. The base is a height-adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The brass mixer in a polished finish is fitted with a ceramic cartridge.

Before buying, it is advisable to take a look at the installation location and the existing connections. The tub needs hot and cold water as well as a waste water connection with 40 millimetre diameter. For whirlpool operation a socket with 230 volts near the tub is also required, and this should be installed according to the applicable wet room regulations. With a passage width of 70 centimetres the tub fits through any common standard door and can be brought into the bathroom without dismantling. The model is delivered as a two-part set, which means the tub main body and the shower screen are packed separately and assembled on site, which additionally eases transport through narrow stairwells and hallways.
Here at our warehouse every tub is filled with water before shipping and checked on a test rig. Only then does it go into transport. Delivery is by carrier as kerbside delivery, and the driver contacts you in advance by phone to arrange the date. The scope of delivery includes the tub main body, the stainless steel frame with height-adjustable feet, the folding glass shower screen and the mixer.
