AcquaVapore S02D-B-R: sitting bathtub with door and acrylic shower top for more independence in the bathroom
For people with restricted mobility, the AcquaVapore S02D-B-R is a sitting bathtub with side entry that makes bathing and showering in your own home safe and independent again. The model combines a sitting bath with a door and the door hinged on the right with an acrylic shower top, so that you can use the bath either as a sitting bath or as a shower. The external dimensions of 100 x 78 x 205 cm, together with the neck rest and the particularly deep bath shape, make this bath a well-considered solution for the age-appropriate bathroom.
The AcquaVapore S02D-B-R is particularly suitable when mobility declines with age and getting in and out of an ordinary bath becomes increasingly difficult. It also provides a reliable basis for home care, where relatives or carers assist with personal hygiene without putting unnecessary strain on the person concerned. The side door allows mobility-friendly access, and the integrated seat makes a relaxed bath possible without the need for balance when getting in.
Entry, seat and water: the key functions
The side door of the S02D-B-R opens with the door hinged on the right and provides an entry width of 52 cm, which makes getting in safer and also makes transferring from a wheelchair easier. The door, made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with an all-round special seal, has a triple locking system with an additional safety lock that ensures a reliably watertight closure. After bathing, the water is drained first before you open the door again. An integrated door drainage removes residual moisture from the door area.
The bath body made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic is held securely and level in the bathroom by a height-adjustable stainless steel frame. Inside you will find an anatomically shaped seat with a seat height of about 39 cm and a seating surface of about 40 x 40 cm. The bath is built as an extra-deep sitting bath: with 80 litres of water volume, the water level when seated reaches up to the stomach, or up to the chest for taller people. The immersion depth is 70 cm up to the overflow. An integrated neck rest offers additional comfort when you want to lean back during the bath. The already fitted single-lever mixer in polished brass allows convenient control of water temperature and flow with one hand. Using the fitted acrylic shower top, you can also use the bath as a shower. Anyone looking for a permanently installed shower bath combination will find further combined solutions in our range.

If you have questions about the connections or the specific installation situation, the team at Seniorbad.de will be glad to help you.
Before a bath leaves our warehouse, it is filled with water and thoroughly checked for watertightness. Only after this check is it packed again securely for transport and handed over to the carrier. Dispatch is by carrier as kerbside delivery. Please have a reachable telephone number ready for the notification so that the delivery day can be arranged together. The bath body and acrylic shower top are delivered as a two-part set, all taps are already fitted, so that on site only the water connections need to be made and the adjustable feet set to the desired height.
