A sitting bath, safe entry and well-considered features in one model: the AcquaVapore S02D-C-R
The AcquaVapore S02D-C-R combines a sitting bathtub with side entry and an acrylic shower top in one unit. The side door makes getting in easier even when strength and mobility have declined. Layout variant C positions the bath neatly in the right-hand corner, with the door hinged on the right. The bath can therefore be fitted into typical bathroom layouts in just a few steps. The acrylic shower top closes off the shower area at the top and makes the bath usable as a standing shower as well.
Anyone using the bath for home care will particularly appreciate the low door threshold and the wide door opening with an entry width of 52 cm. People with chronic joint pain or arthritis complaints benefit from being able to wash while seated, without having to put heavy strain on the body. The acrylic shower top additionally makes the bath usable as a shower bath combination, so that depending on the day you can choose between a sitting bath and a standing shower. Especially for relatives who take on care at home, the wide door opening makes assisting with getting in and out considerably easier.
Construction, safety and comfort of the S02D-C-R
The side door opens generously and allows wide access to the bath interior. Three locking points secure the door during bathing against unintentional opening, and an additional safety lock prevents pressure build-up inside from pushing the door open. The door seal runs all round and seals reliably even at full capacity. Below the door sits a door drainage that removes any residual water after the bath. The integrated grab handle gives a stable hold when getting in and sitting down, so that you can safely keep the necessary balance.
A height-adjustable stainless steel frame provides a secure stand, while the bath body itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The integrated seat sits at a seat height of around 39 cm and offers a seating surface of about 40 cm x 40 cm, leaving enough room for a relaxed sitting position. When seated, the water reaches up to the stomach or chest, with an immersion depth of 70 cm. The feature "extra-deep" shows that the bath body is deliberately designed to be deep, so that enough water reaches around the lower body even when seated. An integrated neck rest supports the head and encourages a relaxed sitting position while bathing. The brass tap with a polished chrome surface is already fitted, and a single-lever mixer controls temperature and flow. The waste is positioned off-centre, which makes complete drainage of the water easier. Water consumption is around 80 litres.

The bathroom should have a hot water, a cold water and a 40 millimetre waste connection. If you are unsure whether the connection layout is suitable, please get in touch with our team before ordering. A door width of 82 centimetres is enough to slide the fully assembled bath into the bathroom. Dismantling at the installation site is therefore normally unnecessary.
At the warehouse, every bath undergoes a final inspection with a water fill. As soon as watertightness is confirmed, the bath goes back into the shipping box. The carrier arranges the delivery date with you by telephone, and delivery is kerbside delivery. When ordering, please therefore provide a telephone number where you can be reached well during the day.
