AcquaVapore S02D-WP-B-R: sitting bathtub with water massage and acrylic shower top
For people with restricted mobility, the AcquaVapore S02D-WP-B-R is a full combination of a sitting bathtub and a shower with integrated water massage. The bath unites a low-threshold accessible sitting bath with side entry, an acrylic shower top and eight whirlpool water jets in a compact body with external dimensions of 100 x 78 x 205 cm. You get in through a side door with a clear entry width of 52 cm, take a seat on the integrated seat and then enjoy a warm bath with a water massage, without having to leave the bath.
The model is suitable as an investment in an age-appropriate owner-occupied flat, where a long-term conversion is sensible and plannable. It is also used in homes without room for a separate stepped bath solution, because it unites bath and shower in a single footprint. Variant B is designed for installation against a wall, and the door is hinged on the right.
Jets, door system and water flow
The side door opens over a large area and allows safe entry from the front or the side, including out of a wheelchair. It is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and secured with a special seal and a triple locking mechanism that reliably holds the water inside. An additional safety lock on the door prevents unintentional opening during the bath. The door system also has a door drainage, which removes residual moisture arising when opening after the bath.
Inside, you sit upright on an anatomically shaped seat with a height of about 39 cm and a seating surface of around 40 x 40 cm. The water fills the bath to an immersion depth of 70 cm, which when seated gives a water level up to the stomach or chest area, depending on your height. The eight water jets of the whirlpool system are configured as back jets, of which six are fixed back jets along the backrest and two more in the wall area. The 750 watt pump supplies all jets evenly with pressure and thus creates a generous back massage in the water. The fill volume is 70 to 90 litres, which keeps water consumption manageable. The integrated neck rest supports the head when leaning back during the massage. Using the acrylic shower top, the sitting bath with side entry can also be used as a shower at any time, without separate conversion work. As a shower bath combination with a massage function, this model saves space and still offers full comfort. The tap is a brass single-lever mixer with a polished chrome finish, already fitted, and comprises the shower tap, shower hose and shower head. Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the bath stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and thus levels out unevenness in the floor.

If you have questions about the installation site, we are glad to advise you. For commissioning, a cold water, a hot water and a waste connection are required, the latter configured as HT 40. If you are unsure about the installation site, we are glad to advise. As the whirlpool system is electrically operated, a 230 volt power connection is also required near the bath. The external width of 82 centimetres allows transport through a standard door, so the bath reaches its installation site in one piece.
Before packing, we test every unit with water and check all connections for watertightness. After passing the check, the bath goes into the shipping packaging. Dispatch is by carrier as kerbside delivery. Please have a reachable telephone number ready for the notification so that the delivery day can be arranged together.
