AcquaVapore S02D-WP-B-L: a sitting bathtub with a water massage and acrylic shower top
For people with restricted mobility, the AcquaVapore S02D-WP-B-L is a sitting bathtub with a side entry, an integrated whirlpool water massage system and an acrylic shower top for combined shower and bath use. The bath unites three functions: safe seated bathing, an invigorating water massage through 8 integrated jets and comfortable showering under the acrylic top. Through the side door with a step-in width of 52 cm you get in without climbing over a high bath rim. The model is designed in the B layout for placement against a wall; the door is hinged on the left.
The sitting bath with a door is particularly suitable for back trouble, when climbing over a classic bath rim is difficult, as well as for balance problems, to reduce the risk of falling. The low threshold and the wide door make getting in considerably easier. You take a seat on the integrated seat, the door is closed watertight, and only then do you fill the bath with warm water. While seated the water rises up to the stomach and chest area, which allows pleasant and warming bathing comfort.
Massage, door and interior
The side door of the S02D-WP-B-L opens with the door hinged on the left and offers a clear step-in width of 52 cm. The door is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and equipped with an all-round special seal. A 3-point locking mechanism as well as an additional safety lock ensure that the door stays reliably tight when being filled. In addition, a door drainage is integrated that drains the water running off after the door is opened and so keeps the surroundings dry.
Inside the sitting bath you will find a seat height of about 39 cm and a seat of around 40 cm x 40 cm, which allows you a stable sitting position in the water. The immersion depth is 70 cm up to the overflow, so that while seated the water reaches up to the stomach and chest area. The integrated water massage system works with 8 jets: 2 of them are positioned in the wall area, 6 more are designed as fixed back jets that allow a targeted back massage by water jet. The 750 watt pump supplies all jets with sufficient pressure. Water consumption is only 70 to 90 litres. In addition to bath use, the acrylic shower top also allows operation as a shower bath combination. The bath body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and rests on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame that levels out small floor unevenness. The brass tap with a polished surface and single-lever mixer is already fitted and supplied ready for operation. The delivery also includes a shower head, shower hose and shower tap.

Before ordering, a quick look at the connections and the installation site is worthwhile. You need a hot and cold water connection as well as a waste connection with a 40 mm diameter. As this is a model with a water massage pump, a 230 volt power connection is additionally required. The external width of 82 centimetres allows the bath to pass through a standard door, so it reaches its installation site in one piece. If you have questions about the installation situation or the connections, our team is glad to help you at the contact details on Seniorbad.de.
