AcquaVapore S02WP-B-L, a sitting bathtub with a door, water massage and door hinged on the left
For people with restricted mobility, the AcquaVapore S02WP-B-L is a comfortable sitting bath with a side entry and an integrated water massage. The bath with a door allows safe getting in and out without the detour over a high bath rim, and the 8 water jets provide an even massage of the back and sides during the bath. With a step-in width of 52 cm, the door opening offers enough room even for people who rely on aids.
The sitting bath with a side entry is particularly suitable as an investment in an age-friendly owner-occupied flat, where a safe bathroom without rebuilding the whole room is needed in the long term. It is equally the right solution for flats without space for a separate stepped bath solution, as it fits in the footprint of a normal bath and additionally brings a massage function. Anyone who wants to compare further models will find sitting bathtubs with a door in various layouts in our range.
Jets, door system and water flow
The side door of the S02WP-B-L is hinged on the left and opens a door width of 52 cm that allows a generous entry. The door itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with a special seal and a 3-point locking system as well as an additional safety lock that reliably seals the door during the bath. The low threshold makes getting in considerably easier and makes the entry safer than with a conventional bath without a door. Once the door is closed, the bath can be filled.
Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the bath stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and so levels out unevenness in the floor. The bath body holds around 80 litres of water up to the overflow, which corresponds to an immersion depth of 70 cm. While seated the water therefore reaches up to the stomach or chest, depending on body height. The seating area sits about 39 cm above the bath floor and offers a seat of around 40 x 40 cm, complemented by a neck rest for a comfortable head position during the massage bath. The 8 water jets of the whirl system are arranged as wall jets and back jets and are supplied with water by a 750 watt unit. The taps, a polished single-lever mixer made of brass with chrome-plated surfaces, are fitted at the factory and include a shower hose, shower head and shower tap.

For commissioning, a cold water, a hot water and a waste connection are required, the latter in HT 40. If you are unsure about the installation site, we will gladly advise you. The external width of 78 centimetres allows the bath to pass through a standard door, so it reaches its installation site in one piece.
Before packing we test each unit with water and check all connections for watertightness. Once it has passed the check, the bath goes into the shipping packaging. Delivery is by carrier as kerbside delivery. Please have a phone number ready where you can be reached for the delivery notification, so the delivery day can be arranged together.
