AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-A-L: sitting bathtub with whirlpool and side entry
The AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-A-L belongs to the range of low-threshold sitting bathtubs. With 8 integrated massage jets, a thermostatic mixer and the side door, it combines relaxing whirlpool bathing with an age-appropriate entry concept. The compact build of 100 cm in length and 78 cm in width allows corner installation in position variant A and thus fits into many existing bathrooms.
This sitting bathtub with side entry is aimed at people who want to shower and bathe safely and independently again after a stroke or other mobility events, as well as at people with a permanent mobility limitation, for instance due to multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's. The well-thought-out door system makes the entry safer without having to give up the comfort of a full bath. This lets you once again enjoy a full bath in a relaxed and independent way, without relying on outside help.
How the S02WP-TH-A-L combines massage and a safe entry
The side door hinged on the left opens generously and allows easy entry with a clear opening width of 52 cm. The door has a triple lock, a special seal and an additional safety catch that seals reliably and keeps the door firmly seated even when the tub is full. The door drain prevents water from collecting in the door structure. The integrated grab handle gives a secure hold when getting in and out. The low door threshold noticeably eases stepping in and is tailored to users with reduced mobility.
Inside, you sit upright on a seating area of about 40 cm x 40 cm at a seat height of around 39 cm. At an immersion depth of 70 cm, the water reaches up to your stomach or chest while seated, depending on your height. The 8 integrated massage jets of the water system create targeted flow pulses: 2 jets in the wall area and 6 fixed back jets provide a continuous massage. The pump delivers 750 watts and supplies the whirlpool system with sufficient pressure. With a water volume of 95 to 105 litres the tub fills quickly, and the integrated neck rest allows a relaxed posture during the bath. The tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, carried by a height-adjustable stainless steel frame for a secure stand. The drain valve sits off-centre and is easy to operate without having to reach far. You will find further models with a whirlpool function in our range of whirlpool baths.

The usual sanitary connections are required for installation: hot and cold water at 1/2 inch, as well as a waste connection HT 40. A prior inspection of the installation site is sensible. As this is a whirlpool model, a standard 230-volt power connection near the tub is also required. At 78 centimetres external width, the tub fits through a common home door. Moving it into the bathroom therefore works without dismantling in the vast majority of cases. For the corner installation in position variant A, the available room dimensions should be checked in advance so that bringing it in goes smoothly.
Every tub undergoes a function test with a water fill before dispatch. Watertightness and fittings are checked before the model is packed for shipping. The scope of delivery includes the bathtub, thermostatic mixer, shower head and shower hose. Before delivery, the carrier contacts you to arrange a suitable date. A number where you can be reached during the day is therefore helpful. Delivery is kerbside delivery.
