AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-C-L: sitting bathtub with whirlpool and side door entry
A sitting bath, a safe entry and well-thought-out features in one model: the AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-C-L. This sitting bathtub with door combines a side-opening entry with an integrated water massage from 8 jets and a thermostatic mixer made of brass. The tub is designed for position variant C (right-hand corner), and the door is hinged on the left. With external dimensions of 100 x 78 x 113 cm and an immersion depth of 70 cm, the water reaches up to your stomach while seated, and up to the chest for taller people.
The S02WP-TH-C-L is especially suitable in cases of excess weight, when the conventional entry has become unsafe, as well as for maintaining independence when bathing in your own bathroom. Anyone who wants to keep using the bathroom independently, without giving up comfort or relaxation, will find a reliable solution in this age-appropriately designed sitting bathtub.
What the S02WP-TH-C-L offers with the massage function
The side door opens wide and clears an entry width of 52 cm. Thanks to the low door threshold the entry is considerably easier, and the integrated grab handle gives you a secure hold when sitting down. The door closes with a triple lock and an additional safety catch that ensures the tub body closes tightly. An integrated door drain ensures that no water runs onto the floor after opening. You get in first, sit down, close the door and then fill the tub with water before you start the massage.
The seat area offers a seating area of approx. 40 x 40 cm at a seat height of about 39 cm, complemented by an anatomical neck rest for sitting in the water. The water massage system has 8 jets with 750 watts of pump power: 2 jets in the wall area and 6 fixed back jets that allow a wide-area massage of the back. Water consumption is about 80 litres per bath. The base is a height-adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The scope of delivery includes the shower hose, shower head and the thermostatic mixer with a polished chrome finish, so you can start straight away after connection. You will find further models with an integrated massage system in our range of whirlpool baths.

Before buying, it is worth a look at the installation site and the existing connections. The tub needs hot and cold water as well as a waste connection with a 40 millimetre diameter. As the massage system runs on 230 volts, you also need a properly protected socket in the bathroom. A door width of 82 centimetres is enough to slide the tub into the bathroom fully assembled. Dismantling at the installation site is therefore normally not needed. If in doubt, a brief consultation with a plumber who checks the local conditions in advance is advisable.
At our warehouse every tub is filled with water and checked on a test rig before dispatch. Only then does it go into transport. The carrier arranges the delivery date with you by phone and delivers kerbside delivery. When ordering, please provide a number where you can be reached well during the day. Besides the sitting bathtub, the scope of delivery includes the thermostatic mixer, shower hose and shower head, so that commissioning is possible after the water connection without any further accessories.
