AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-B-L, sitting bathtub with door, whirlpool and thermostatic mixer
For people with reduced mobility, the AcquaVapore S02WP-TH-B-L is a sitting bathtub with side entry and an integrated water massage. The tub allows a relaxing bath while seated, with the water reaching up to your stomach or chest while seated. The side door hinged on the left creates a large access that makes stepping in considerably easier, especially for people who can no longer lift their feet high. The model is designed as position variant B for installation against one wall and thus fits into most bathroom situations.
The tub is especially suitable for long-term use by people with a permanent mobility limitation, for instance due to multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's, where safely climbing over a high tub rim is no longer possible. It is equally a sensible solution in cases of excess weight, when the conventional entry has become unsafe. In both situations the low door threshold protects against the risk of falls and gives the user more independence in everyday life.
Jets, door system and water flow
The reinforced door made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic is fitted with a special seal as well as a triple lock. An additional safety catch keeps the door reliably closed while the tub is filling. The door opening offers an entry width of 52 cm, which allows a wide-set entry and also eases transfer from a wheelchair. Thanks to the integrated door drain, the floor stays dry when the door is opened after the bath.
In the seat area there is an ergonomically shaped neck rest that supports the back and neck during bathing. The internal seat height is about 39 cm, the seating area measures around 40 cm x 40 cm. The water system comprises 8 jets for water massage: 2 jets in the wall area as well as 6 fixed back jets that target the back area while seated. The immersion depth is 70 cm, and the water level reaches up to your stomach or chest while seated. The whirl system runs on 750 watts and needs a power connection for this. Water consumption is about 80 litres, and the thermostatic mixer with diverter keeps the chosen water temperature stable. The body and fittings are made of brass and finely chrome-plated. Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the tub stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and so evens out unevenness in the floor. The external width of 78 centimetres allows transport through a standard door, so the tub reaches its installation site in one piece. For commissioning, a cold water, a hot water and a waste connection are needed, the latter in HT 40. If you are unsure about the installation site, we are happy to advise. As the model has an electric whirl system, a power connection (230 volts) is also required.
Before packing, we test every unit with water and check all connections for watertightness. After passing the check, the tub goes into its shipping packaging. Shipping is by carrier, kerbside delivery. Please keep a reachable telephone number ready for the booking so that the delivery day can be arranged together. If you have questions about installation, low-threshold accessories or applying for funding, the team at Seniorbad.de is happy to help.
