AcquaVapore S12-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door for comfortable and safe bathing

A full bath, a safe entry and well considered features in a single model: the AcquaVapore S12-R-ALL. This walk-in bathtub with door with external dimensions of 85 x 170 cm combines classic bathing comfort with an age appropriate entry concept. The side door with a 38 cm step-in width makes getting in safer, because you no longer have to climb over a high tub rim. The model is aimed at people who do not want to give up the experience of a relaxing lying bath despite limited mobility.

This tub is particularly helpful in homes with no room for a separate tub step solution, as it fits into an existing bathroom corner recess. It is equally suitable for people who, after a stroke or other mobility events, want to manage their daily routine safely in their familiar bathroom. The right hand version is designed for the right room corner. In our selection of senior bath tubs you will find further models for a safe bathroom with a low threshold.

How entry, lying area and water flow work together

The side tub door opens outwards and provides a step-in opening of 38 cm. This low door threshold allows a mobility friendly entry without having to lift your leg high. The safety lock of the door engages securely when closing and holds the water back reliably. The special seal around the door ensures that the lock stays watertight even when the tub is completely filled.

Inside, the S12-R-ALL offers a generous lying area for one person. The water depth is a submersion depth of 35 cm, so you can rest comfortably in the water while lying down. A corner seat on the upper tub rim makes getting in easier and serves as a short resting place when getting in and out. The drain is positioned off centre, which enlarges the usable lying area inside the tub. The tub holds around 150 litres of water. The base is a height adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The supplied single-lever mixer made of brass with a polished chrome surface is easy to operate with one hand.

Before buying, it is worth looking at the installation site and the existing connections. The tub needs hot and cold water as well as a waste water connection with a 40 millimetre diameter. A door width of 70 centimetres is enough to slide the tub fully assembled into the bathroom. Dismantling at the installation site is therefore normally not needed. The hot and cold water connections can also be routed on opposite sides, which makes installation easier in rooms with different layouts.

In our warehouse, every tub is filled with water before dispatch and checked on a test rig. Only then does it go into transport. The carrier will contact you in advance to arrange the delivery date and delivers to the kerbside. When ordering, please provide a phone number on which you can be easily reached during the day. If you have questions about installation or fit, the team at Seniorbad.de will be glad to help.
