AcquaVapore S12D-TH-WP-R-ALL: walk-in tub with door, glass shower screen and water massage in one model

A reclining bath, safe entry and well-thought-out equipment in one model: the AcquaVapore S12D-TH-WP-R-ALL. This walk-in tub with a side door and an integrated glass shower screen combines the classic reclining bath with the option of using the same tub as a full shower. Four integrated water massage jets with a 750 watt pump stage ensure that after a long day you lie relaxed in the warm water and can apply the massage where you want it. The model is made in the right-hand version and so fits bathrooms where the tub is placed in the right room corner.

The S12D-TH-WP-R-ALL is particularly suitable for people who live in flats with no space for a separate tub-and-step solution and still do not want to give up a full reclining bath. It is equally suitable for people who, after a stroke or other mobility events, are looking for safe access to the bathtub again without having to carry out major conversions. The low door threshold with an entry width of 38 cm makes getting in safer and gives you the footing you need when stepping over the tub edge. As a shower bath combination you can also use the model flexibly for daily showering thanks to the folding glass screen.

What the S12D-TH-WP-R-ALL offers with the massage function

The side tub door opens easily and closes with a tested safety latch that seals the tub reliably as soon as you have lain down inside it. The seal runs all the way round, so that no water escapes at the door joint. An additional locking mechanism ensures that the door does not open unintentionally during the bath. The glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass is fitted so that it folds and can be swung to the side when needed, if you want to use the tub in shower mode. In this way you have both uses in one product: bathing lying down or showering standing up.

In the reclining bath the usable water depth reaches up to the overflow, and the measured water level is 35 cm. With a tub length of 170 cm and a width of 85 cm you can lie fully stretched out. The four water massage jets are integrated into the tub body and work with a pump output of 750 watts. The water is circulated and pressed through the jets as a targeted massage stream, which allows you to promote circulation in the legs and back during the bath. The thermostatic mixer made of brass with a chrome-plated, polished surface keeps the chosen water temperature constant, so that you set the temperature once and then lie back without readjusting. The tub body is made of acrylic with fibreglass reinforcement, which proves its shape stability even at changing temperatures. Beneath the tub body made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic sits a height-adjustable stainless steel frame that compensates for smaller deviations in the floor without additional packing.

For installation you need connections for hot and cold water as well as a waste water connection with 40 millimetres. As the S12D-TH-WP-R-ALL contains a water massage pump, a 230 volt power connection is additionally required, which should be checked by a specialist company before installation. The required connections are a hot water connection, a cold water connection and a waste water connection with 40 millimetres. A prior check of the existing pipes makes later installation considerably easier. The outlet is off the centre of the tub, which has to be taken into account when planning the floor connection. A door width of 70 centimetres is enough to slide the tub fully assembled into the bathroom. Dismantling at the installation location is therefore normally not needed.

A water fill in the warehouse is part of our standard inspection before dispatch. In this way we ensure that only watertight and fully functional tubs leave the warehouse. The carrier arranges the delivery date with you by phone and delivers kerbside delivery. When ordering, therefore, provide a phone number on which you can be reached well during the day.
