AcquaVapore S12D-AIR-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, air massage and glass shower screen for the right room corner

For people with limited mobility, the AcquaVapore S12D-AIR-R-ALL is a low-threshold combination of walk-in bathtub and shower that brings both uses together under one roof. The model offers a 85 x 170 cm reclining area, a side door with a low entry and a hinged glass shower screen, so that in a single installation spot you can either bathe in a relaxed reclining position or shower quickly and conveniently. The air massage system with 12 jets adds a soothing flow of air to the bath. The right-hand version is intended for the right corner of the room and can be fitted precisely into a matching floor plan.

This bathtub with door is recommended in particular for back complaints, when climbing over the rim of a classic tub becomes difficult, and likewise for balance problems, to reduce the risk of falling. Instead of climbing over a high edge, you open the side door, place one foot after the other over the low door threshold and then settle comfortably into a reclining position. In this way bathing and showering remain safe and self-determined within your own four walls.

Jets, door system and water routing

The side door provides an entry width of 38 cm and makes getting in safer than a classic tub rim allows. An additional locking mechanism keeps the door reliably closed during the bath. The door is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic with an all-round special seal and seals reliably even at a full water level. The seal is designed for daily use and ensures that no water reaches the bathroom floor. For a safe transition when getting in and out, a corner seat at the upper rim of the bath above the water offers a brief resting spot.

Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the bath stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and thereby compensates for unevenness in the floor. When reclining, you enjoy a normal bath with an immersion depth of 35 cm, which gives the bath enough water depth for a relaxing reclining experience. If you prefer to shower, you fold the side glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass aside and use the screen, which reaches up to 200 cm, as a generous splash guard. The glass is transparent and gives the bathroom an open look. The built-in air massage system works with 12 air jets, which are driven by a 400-watt pump at 230 volt. The air flows out of the jets and creates fine air bubbles that broadly wash around the body while reclining. The air system does without water circulation through the jets, which makes cleaning simpler. The glass screen is supplied without 2K glass coating. The waste is located off-centre, which improves access when keeping the base of the bath clean. In our selection of shower bath combinations you will find further models that combine bath and shower in one body.

For commissioning you need a cold water, a hot water and a waste connection. The latter is designed as HT 40. If you are unsure about the installation spot, we are glad to advise. As this model is equipped with an air massage system, you also need a power connection with 230 volt. Please observe the applicable regulations for electrical installations in wet rooms. The external width of 70 centimetres allows transport through a standard door, so that the bath reaches its installation spot in one piece. For further questions about installation spot, connection or model choice, you can reach our team through the online shop Seniorbad.de.

Before packing, we test every unit with water and check all connections for leaks. Once the inspection is passed, the bath goes into the shipping packaging. The scope of delivery comprises the bath body and the hinged glass shower screen as a mobility-friendly complete set. Dispatch is handled by a carrier as kerbside delivery. Please keep a reachable telephone number ready for the arrangement, so that the delivery day can be agreed together.
