AcquaVapore S12D-EH-WP-R-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door, glass shower screen and water massage

AcquaVapore S12D-EH-WP-R-ALL is a combination of walk-in bathtub with door, hinged glass shower screen and whirlpool water massage. The bath measures 85 x 170 cm and so offers enough room for relaxed reclining, while the side-integrated door makes getting in easier. Thanks to the attached glass shower screen, you can use the same installation spot either as a full bath or as a shower. The model is designed in the right-hand version, for the right corner of the room.

The combination of a low entry, safety catch and massage function makes this bath particularly suitable for people who want to bathe independently again after a stroke or other mobility events, as well as for people with a permanent mobility restriction, for example due to multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's. Seniorbad.de offers the model as an age-appropriate solution for everyone who wants to combine safety and comfort in the bathroom. As a shower bath combination, it can also be used for daily showering thanks to the hinged glass screen.

Massage, door and interior

The side bath door opens outwards and provides an entry width of 38 cm, which simplifies getting in even with limited mobility. The door frame is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and closes with an all-round special seal. The safety catch keeps the door reliably closed during filling and bathing. In the upper area of the bath there is a corner seat above the water line that serves as a support and a brief resting position when getting in and out.

The bath body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and rests on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame that compensates for small floor unevenness. You lie flat in the bath while bathing, the immersion depth is 35 cm. Four water massage jets are distributed in the interior, the pump works with 750 watt and provides an even massage on the legs and back. The capacity is around 150 litres. The hinged glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass, transparent and without coating, also allows use as a shower when needed. The single-lever mixer made of brass, high-gloss chrome-plated, combines temperature and flow control and has a diverter between bath inlet and shower. Shower head and shower hose are included in the scope of delivery.

Technical data

The most important dimensions and values of the AcquaVapore S12D-EH-WP-R-ALL at a glance:

External dimensions of the bath body: 85 x 170 cm, overall height with shower screen 200 cm
Entry width (bath door): 38 cm
Immersion depth (up to overflow): 35 cm
Capacity: about 146 to 155 litres
Whirlpool system: 4 water massage jets, pump 750 watt, 230 volt
Shower screen: 6 mm toughened safety glass, transparent, hinged
Mixer tap: single-lever mixer, brass, high-gloss chrome-plated, with diverter
Bath material: fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, base frame stainless steel frame
Orientation: right-hand version, for the right corner of the room (positioning variant B)
Waste: off-centre, 40 mm diameter
Scope of delivery: bathtub, glass shower screen, mixer tap, shower head, shower hose

Before ordering, a quick look at the connections and installation spot is worthwhile. You need a hot and cold water connection as well as a waste connection with 40 mm diameter. As the model is equipped with a whirlpool system, a power connection with 230 volt near the bath is additionally required. The bath fits as a whole through a standard door from 70 centimetres width, so transport into existing bathrooms is possible in most cases without dismantling. The right-hand version requires that the door of the bath opens towards the free side of the room.

Before dispatch, every model is unpacked, inspected visually and filled with water on a test rig. Only after the leak test is passed do we pack the bath again for transport. For delivery by carrier, we ask for a telephone number reachable during the day for the arrangement. The delivery is made as kerbside delivery. If you have questions about installation or choosing the right version, the team at Seniorbad.de is glad to help.
