AcquaVapore S12-L-ALL: walk-in bathtub with door for the left room corner

A side door, a compact seating area and an entry width of 38 cm: that is the AcquaVapore S12-L-ALL. This walk-in bathtub with door gives people who reach their limits when climbing into an ordinary bathtub an age-appropriate solution, without having to give up the experience of lying down to bathe. With external dimensions of 170 x 85 cm and a capacity of around 150 litres, the tub fits into many existing bathrooms and is designed for the left room corner. The tub body made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the integrated mixer and the safety latch of the door are matched to one another and built for long-term daily use.

The tub is particularly suitable in cases of balance problems, to reduce the risk of falling, when stepping over a high tub rim is no longer safely possible. It also appeals to households who, with forward-looking bathroom planning for later living, want to install a durable solution now that grows with their needs. Both use cases share the aim of preserving independent bathing for as long as possible. In our range of senior bath tubs you will find further low-threshold models for age-appropriate bathing comfort.

Door, lying area and water functions in detail

The side tub door opens outwards and releases an entry opening of 38 cm. This width allows a relaxed side entry, without having to bend or lift excessively. The safety latch of the door clicks firmly into place when closing and withstands the water pressure, so that no water escapes from the door gap. The seal is designed for permanent wet operation and encloses the door frame across its full surface. Anyone who wants additional reassurance when getting in can sit briefly on the tub rim in the door area before moving into the lying position.

The AcquaVapore S12-L-ALL is a walk-in bathtub: you lie down while bathing, and in the lying bath the water reaches an immersion depth of 35 cm. This makes a relaxed, large-area bath possible, in which the body lies largely in the water. Made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, the tub stands on a height-adjustable stainless steel frame and so compensates for unevenness in the floor. The tub body in white with a rectangular basic shape offers ample room for one person. At the tub end there is a corner seat above the water area, which can be used for getting in and out or for a short rest, without having to expose yourself to the full water pressure. The mixer is designed as a polished single-lever mixer made of brass and allows comfortable one-hand control of temperature and flow. The outlet lies off centre, which does not restrict the usable lying area.
