AcquaVapore S02D-TH-C-L: sitting bathtub with door and acrylic shower top for safe bathing and showering
With the AcquaVapore S02D-TH-C-L, Seniorbad.de offers a solution to relieve carers and for anyone for whom leaving the tub after a bath has become a hurdle. The combination of a sitting bathtub with a side door and an integrated acrylic shower top allows both a full sitting bath and a comfortable shower, without having to switch between two fixtures. The model is designed as position variant C for the right-hand corner and thus fits into common bathroom layouts where the corner is to be used optimally.
People with reduced mobility who want to enjoy independent bathing again benefit from the low door threshold and the wide entry. At the same time, the set gives carers the assurance that getting into the tub is possible in a controlled way and without outside help, once the door is closed. The combination of a sitting bath with up to 80 litres of water content and a shower function makes the S02D-TH-C-L a versatile centrepiece in a low-threshold bathroom. You will find further tubs with a combined shower function in our shower bath combinations category.
How entry, seat and water flow work together
Entry is through the side door with the door hinged on the left, which clears a clear opening of 52 cm entry width. This generous door opening makes stepping in easier even when mobility is limited or a wheelchair is nearby. The door is fitted with a triple lock and an additional safety catch that reliably keeps the water in the interior. An integrated door drain ensures that no uncontrolled run-off can occur when the door is opened after the bath.
Inside, the sitting bathtub offers a seat height of about 39 cm and a seating area of about 40 cm x 40 cm. Thanks to the extra-deep build, the tub can be filled to an immersion depth of 70 cm, so the water reaches up to your stomach while seated, or up to the chest depending on your height. An integrated neck rest provides a pleasant posture during the bath. The tub body holds up to 80 litres, which allows gentle water use without having to give up the full sitting bath. A height-adjustable stainless steel frame provides a secure stand, and the tub body itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The acrylic shower top, which completes the tub into a 2-piece set, closes off the shower area at the top and thus makes the sitting bathtub with side entry usable as a shower too. The drain is on the right side, matched to the corner situation in the right-hand corner. The thermostatic mixer made of brass with a polished chrome surface and a ceramic cartridge allows comfortable temperature setting and has a diverter between tub filling and shower operation.

In the bathroom there should be a hot water, a cold water and a 40 millimetre waste connection. If you are unsure whether the connection layout fits, feel free to contact our team before ordering. With a clearance width of 82 centimetres, the tub fits through any common standard door and can be brought into the bathroom without dismantling. Our team at the Seniorbad.de online shop advises you by phone or email on the connection options and suitability for your bathroom.
In the warehouse, every tub undergoes a final inspection with a water fill. As soon as watertightness is confirmed, the tub goes back into the shipping box. Delivery is by carrier, kerbside delivery, and the driver calls in advance to arrange a time. The 2-piece set consists of the sitting bathtub with door and the acrylic shower top, so that after delivery both components can be set up together.
