AcquaVapore S07-A-L: sitting bathtub with door, extra-deep seating area and single-lever mixer
A seated bath, safe entry and well thought-out features in one model: the AcquaVapore S07-A-L. This sitting bathtub with a side entry is designed for people who need safe, age-appropriate access when bathing, without having to give up a full tub bath. The side door with its low threshold profile makes getting in safer, so there is no need to climb over a high tub rim. The model is supplied in placement variant A for the left-hand corner, the door is hinged on the left and the external dimensions are 140 cm x 76 cm x 96 cm.
For home care, the sitting bathtub makes bathing considerably easier, as carers have good access and the low door threshold simplifies entry. Anyone looking for a soothing tub bath to ease chronic joint pain or arthritis will appreciate the upright seated position in warm water: when seated, the water reaches up to the stomach or chest, depending on body height. The tub can be integrated permanently into your own bathroom and requires no structural alterations. You will find further low-threshold bathtubs for older people in our selection of senior bathtubs.
Construction, safety and comfort of the S07-A-L
The side-mounted door opens wide and provides an entry width of 50 cm, which allows generous access even with a walking aid or from a wheelchair. Once the door is closed, a triple locking system with an additional safety catch engages, holding the door securely and watertight. The integrated door drainage reliably removes moisture from the sealing area. A grab handle in the entry area makes getting in easier and provides support when standing up.
The seating area is designed for a seat height of about 41 cm and the seat measures roughly 40 cm x 60 cm. As an extra-deep model it reaches an immersion depth of 69 cm, so when seated the water rises to the stomach or, depending on body height, to the chest, allowing a full warm bath for the back and joints. An integrated neck rest provides a comfortable head and neck position. The water capacity is 95 to 105 litres. A height-adjustable stainless steel frame provides a secure stance, while the tub body itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. The tap is a polished single-lever mixer made of brass, with a ceramic cartridge for lasting tightness.

A door width of 82 centimetres is enough to slide the tub into the bathroom fully assembled. Dismantling at the installation site is therefore not usually necessary. The bathroom should have a hot water, a cold water and a 40 millimetre waste water connection. If you are unsure whether the connection layout is suitable, please get in touch with our team before ordering.
At the warehouse, each tub undergoes a final inspection with a water filling. As soon as tightness is confirmed, the tub is returned to its shipping box. The carrier will contact you in advance to arrange the delivery date, with kerbside delivery. When ordering, please therefore provide a number on which you can be easily reached during the day.
