AcquaVapore S02-TH-B-R: sitting bathtub with side entry and thermostatic mixer
With the AcquaVapore S02-TH-B-R, Seniorbad.de offers a solution for seniors and people with limited mobility who want to enjoy a daily full bath independently again. You enter through the side tub door, take a seat on the integrated seat and experience a warm seated bath in which the water reaches up to the stomach or chest depending on body height. The Sitting bathtub with door measures 100 x 78 x 113 cm (L x W x H) in its external dimensions and so offers a full bathing area that is comfortably usable while seated. With a fill volume of 70 to 90 litres, the tub fills quickly and heats up rapidly to the desired temperature.
The AcquaVapore S02-TH-B-R is suitable as an investment in an age-appropriate owner-occupied flat if you are looking for a long-term, value-retaining bathroom solution without fully rebuilding the room. It is likewise the right choice for flats without space for a separate step solution, because the compact dimensions and position variant B allow fitting against a wall without extensive structural work. This way you regain bathroom comfort without having to go without a full bath.
Construction, safety and comfort of the S02-TH-B-R
The side door makes entry considerably easier and also makes it accessible for people with limited leg mobility. The door is hinged on the right, and the clear door opening offers a generous entry width of 52 cm. A low door threshold limits the required step-over height to a minimum, so that you can get in without raising your leg far. The reinforced door is fitted with a triple lock and a safety catch that closes reliably. In addition, the door has an integrated drainage that carries off any residual water trapped in the door area. A grab handle integrated into the tub body gives you a secure hold when getting in and out.
Inside sits an anatomically shaped nape rest that supports your head and neck pleasantly during the bath. The seat surface measures around 40 x 40 cm with an inner seat height of about 39 cm. The model is designed extra deep: the usable soaking depth is 70 cm, and the water reaches up to the stomach when seated and, depending on body height, up to the chest. The substructure is a height-adjustable stainless steel frame, while the tub body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic. This material combines low weight with stable shape retention and is easy to clean. The thermostatic mixer in polished brass with a diverter keeps the water temperature constant at the value you have set and so protects against unwanted temperature fluctuations.

If you have questions about measuring, installation or fitting, the Seniorbad.de team is glad to help you before purchase.
In our warehouse, every tub is filled with water and checked on a test rig before dispatch. Only then does it go into transport. Delivery is by carrier, kerbside delivery, and the driver will contact you in advance by telephone to arrange the date. Please allow for the fact that, because of its dimensions and the sturdy stainless steel frame, the tub carries a corresponding weight and may need a second person in the stairwell or through narrow hallways. The delivery includes the sitting tub with side entry as a complete unit, so that you can get started straight after connecting it. In our range of Senior bath tubs you will find further low-threshold models for different bathroom situations.
