AcquaVapore S12D-L-ALL: walk-in bath with door and glass shower screen for the left-hand corner

With the AcquaVapore S12D-L-ALL, Seniorbad.de offers a solution for people who want to lie down again in a relaxed way and at the same time shower flexibly, without having to do without the advantages of a classic bath. The combination of a walk-in bath with a side door and a folding glass shower screen makes this model a versatile choice for bathrooms designed with a low threshold. The external dimensions of 170 x 85 cm provide a generous bathing area, and entry over the side bath door with a clear opening of 38 cm makes getting in considerably easier. The model is designed as a left-hand version and fits into the left-hand corner.

The model is particularly suitable in cases of lasting restricted mobility, for example due to multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's, when swinging the legs over the bath rim in the classic way is no longer possible. It is likewise suitable in cases of excess weight, when the classic entry has become unsafe and a side access through a wide door offers more support and safety. In both situations the bath allows you to relax lying in the water or to shower comfortably with the folding glass shower screen. In this way you can bathe or shower again in familiar surroundings and completely independently. You will find further models with a door entry in our bathtub with door category.

Door, bathing area and water functions in detail

The side bath door opens wide outwards and gives a step-in width of 38 cm, which makes entry safer for people with restricted mobility. The safety lock keeps the door reliably closed during the bath and prevents water from entering. The door itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic and fitted with an all-round special seal that ensures a tight closure. Anyone who wants to take a short break can use the corner seat at the top of the bath rim, which sits above the water level and makes getting in and out easier.

The bath body with its external dimensions of 170 x 85 cm offers ample room to lie down. The usable water depth is 35 cm, which is enough for a pleasant lying bath. The capacity is around 150 litres. This model is supplied without massage jets, which simplifies cleaning and care. The folding glass shower screen made of 6 mm toughened safety glass with a transparent glass front can be set up to the side next to the door and allows use as a shower cabin when no full bath is wanted. The bath body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic, supported by a height-adjustable stainless steel frame for a secure stand. The mixer is not included in the scope of delivery, but the connections for a separate brass mixer in a polished finish are prepared.

For individual questions about planning and installation, the Seniorbad.de team is glad to help.

Every bath goes through a function test with a water filling before it leaves us. Watertightness and fittings are checked before the model is packed for dispatch. Delivery is by carrier with kerbside delivery, and the driver will contact you by phone in advance to arrange the date.
