AcquaVapore F05-170 is a straight-lined rectangular bath for back-to-wall installation. With dimensions of 170x80 cm, it is placed with its back against the wall and so creates a generous bathing experience with plenty of water volume.
A clear bath shape for the wall
The AcquaVapore F05-170 is placed against a wall, so that the back is protected and the form, closed on three sides, stands neatly in the room. The bath body is made of fibreglass-reinforced acrylic of the AcquaVapore brand, which feels warm, keeps the heat of the bath water for a long time and is easy to keep clean with standard bathroom cleaners. With a water volume of around 120 litres and a water depth of 37 cm, it offers enough room to immerse yourself comfortably. It is therefore suited both to daily use and to upgrading the bathroom during a renovation. The smooth, low-porosity acrylic surface gives limescale and dirt little hold and can be cared for with a few simple steps. As the bath is placed against a wall, the back stays hidden, while the three visible sides are neatly shaped and give the bath a calm, timeless appearance. The rectangular shape of 170x80 cm makes efficient use of the floor area of a bathroom and leaves room next to the bath for further furnishings. Interior, dimensions and frame
The interior of the F05-170 is designed for a comfortable reclining position at 170x80 cm: the sloped back supports you when leaning back, and the volume of around 120 litres reaches up to the water depth of 37 cm. This back-to-wall bath is available in two variants. In the first version, it is supplied without a tap and simply pushed against a wall where a tap is already fitted. In the second version, we supply the bath with a permanently installed tap and handheld shower, so you need no further wall tap in the bathroom. This way, depending on the building situation, you decide whether to keep using an existing tap or prefer a ready-to-install solution. All water-carrying components are in chrome finish and fit into a functional, modern bathroom design. The waste and overflow is already fitted at the factory and checked for leaks, so no further accessories are needed during installation.
The bath stands on a steel frame with four height-adjustable feet that can be adjusted during set-up. This way you compensate for minor irregularities in the floor without additional shims. It is a galvanised steel frame whose galvanising is designed for the damp environment of a bathroom and which takes the weight of the filled bath evenly across the four feet. With an overall height of 58 cm, the step-in height stays pleasantly moderate in everyday use. The height-adjustable feet also make straight alignment easier if the bathroom floor has slight unevenness, so the bath stands securely without rework.
Three connections are required for installation: hot water and cold water, each at 1/2 inch, and a waste water connection with an HT 40 diameter. Please measure the installation location once more before the delivery arrives. You receive the bath as one package; on site, only the supply and drain are connected. Before dispatch, we check every bath for surface, dimensional accuracy and the tightness of waste and overflow. For delivery by freight carrier, we ask for a telephone number where you can be reached during the day for the delivery notification. Delivery is kerbside.
